Vor einem Monat lief in den deutschen Kinos ein wunderbarer Stop-Motion-Film an: Coraline. Entweder wurde für diesen Film wenig bis keine Werbung gemacht, oder der Filmstart ist irgendwie an mir vorbeigegangen..

Unabhängig meiner bisherigen medialen Wahrnehmung zu diesem Film, ist es ein kleines Animationsmeisterwerk. Obwohl ab sechs Jahren freigegeben, ist dieser Film eher nichts für Kinder, nutzt es doch einige Stilmerkmale, die verstörend wirken könn(t)en.

Die Geschichte des Films ist wundbar düster, atmosphärisch und mitunter gruslig. Von der Idee her erinnert Coraline stark an Alice im Wunderland, von der Machart eher an A Nightmare before Christmas. Letzteres ist wohl offensichtlich, da es sich um den gleichen Regisseur, Henri Selick, handelt.

Für die abgebrühtenstumpften Horrorschockersplatterachichbinjasotollweilichmirgernanschauewieanderegequältwerden-Filmfreunde bietet dieser Film hier wohl nichts neues. Alle anderen werden sicher gut unterhalten.

Getreu dem Motto “Leute die 9 sehen, sehen auch Coraline” empfehle ich diesen Film!

Der Kurzfilm auf dem 9 basiert.
Wann allerdings der Kinofilm im deutschen Lande anläuft, steht bisher nirgends geschrieben.

Er sei aber, allein schon wegen des tollen Kurzfilms, uneingeschränkt empfohlen!

Wer mir eine Freude machen möchte, der organisiert mit so’ne Puppe. :)

Die neue ABC-Serie FlashForward klingt schon mal sehr spannend, die Trailer machen auch Lust auf mehr.. Es wird eine feiner Serienherbst werden.
